Studying for the Michigan boater exam
Boating safety study often covers topics such as: navigation rules of the road, required safety equipment, registration basics, weather and emergencies, alcohol and drug use, and trailering or launching. Our independent pilot sets cover selected safety topics for three states only; this state overview is not itself a course or an official exam.
We do not issue an official Michigan boater education card. Once you've prepared with our material, complete a course from a provider listed by Michigan Department of Natural Resources to obtain your card.
