Studying for the PCOC test in Nunavut
Our planned Canadian curriculum is being mapped to Transport Canada's published syllabus. The full course is not available yet. Common study topics include: navigation rules and buoy systems, required equipment by vessel size, distress signals, weather and emergencies, alcohol and drug use on the water, and environmental stewardship.
If you choose to obtain a PCOC, use the official test process through a Transport Canada-accredited provider to receive your card.

- Lifetime. Once you have it, you don't need to renew it. Contact an accredited provider for replacement options and validation requirements.
